Empty Handed

Dear friend,

I’m imagining how it would be on earth right now if every corporation on the planet was entirely dedicated to all of humanity going beyond the scarcity model of thinking—together, like they did in Star Trek when the replicator came along and changed everything for them.

Instead of piling up resources and impoverishing others to enrich one group of ticket holders, why not open your doors to all?

How would that change things?

I’m answering my own question because I believe in this future for humanity.

What I do believe is much more important than what I don’t.

It’s clear there’s a power at work behind the surface of things.

When you wrestle with the world, you find how strong she is, and then you respect your mother in ways maybe you couldn’t feel before.

Coming home to earth and to ourselves, we do need to stabilize our life situation so we can come out of fear and rest for a while in comfort.

There are things I’d love to share, but they feel too intimate; the compliments heard from Chiara about how her favorite time is time spent with me.

You know that’s a tough thing to live without. Everyone needs company. Thank God for our cats and dogs and animal friends. Imagine how much love is pouring into our world from the animals and the plants and the earth herself?

Relatives we have lost are loving us too.
