Longer Term Thinking
Dear friend,
How would it change our behaviour if we, our species, were to adopt longer term thinking.
Dawning in the mind of many of us now on earth is the slow and gradual realisation that life is eternal.
That we are not separate nor separated from life and that we are eternal beings.
What matters most over the course of our lives here is that we learn to be kind, gentle, humble, loving. Quick to forgive, slow to judge.
Peaceful.
Creative.
Helpful.
It’s the evolution of our people.
It makes a difference when you know this life, was not your first on earth. If it was, for me to write to you this way would be incomprehensible.
Knowing that we most likely will return, to learn. To continue our adventure. Learning to be kind, gentle, humble, loving. Quick to forgive, slow to judge.
Peaceful.
Creative.
Helpful.
Over time we lose our attachment to our desires for power, possessions, status, fame, revenge, whatever.
We learn to meet ourselves deeply.
Connect to the light.
Once you get a glimmer of it.
It’s hard to forget.
But you still do.
Like a star.
Signalling across unfathomable distance.
Blinking on and off.
Right here where you are.
Maybe your last visit to earth.
Maybe not.
What matters here is to learn.
The same lessons for all of us.
There are so many lifestyles. You wouldn’t want to live them all.
Be you.
Do it your way:
Till tomorrow
Love
Mikey
