Dear friend,

I raised a white flag in our back garden.
It’s a declaration of peace.

I thought about whether it ought to have a symbol on it—but later decided it might be better if you can project whatever you wish onto it.
Whatever that is, the ground state is peace.

There will come a time when the Earth is united, and the wars and lunacy we see in our own times will be studied with disbelief by future generations.

Gradually, over the coming decades and centuries, human beings will awaken to our inherent unity.
I started writing to you every day with the idea that I would write as honestly as I am able in any given moment—
and this is how I see our future.

We will pass through strange days.
But they will pass.

I know there are Christians who await the second coming.
But that won’t be Jesus making a return appearance and booking an endless stadium tour.
And he won’t be appearing on our screens.

The second coming is the birth of Christ consciousness within us.
Or Krishna.
Or non-dualism.
Or Buddha.
Or Great Spirit.
Or Compassion.

However you want to name it.

Already my false self is wondering what the neighbours will think.
But it should lead to some interesting conversations.
